Welcome to the CODS darts team web site, please feel free to browse the site and check up on all our results and fixtures using the links above and below by date.

The team was set up in 2008 when the Cotswold Arms in Burford put up a dartboard, interest in darts grew and before long we had enough players to start a team, our first season was a struggle as some of the team had not played darts for years and the rest had never played before. We stuck at it and finished in a respectable position just a couple of points away from mid table.

 

During the summer of 2009 we entered the Witney league and won! my god what happened there then? We have now entered a team for the winter again, let us hope that we can bring the summer form into this winter. We have a couple of new faces, well old face but new to the side.

This year I decided to keep an updated web site of all of our results, a good thing? I guess only time will tell, I thought it would be good for all the players and also all of our friends to have a look how we are doing week in and week out. There is of course now nowhere to hide as all your slip ups and missed doubles will be posted on the world wide web for all to see. Note: I have kept this for a whole summer season now and will continue to do so for the winter as well.
